Job summary

VHC Health in Arlington, VA seeks a Registered Nurse for the Nursing Float Pool to provide direct and indirect patient care across units. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, quality care and patient flow, while supporting unit staffing and patient turnover.

The role requires a BSN, 1 year acute care experience, Virginia or compact RN licensure, and current BLS. ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required depending on unit assignments, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Nursing is required.
• One year of Nursing/Patient Care in an acute care setting is required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions or Compact State Licensure required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications may be required for certain units; indicating competence per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to assigned patients.
• Supervise and coordinate care for assigned personnel.
