Job summary

Eastside Medical Center seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients across all ages, from pediatric to geriatric. You will utilize modalities and therapeutic techniques to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability after disease or injury.

The ideal candidate has a degree from an accredited PT program (BS, MS, or DPT) and current Georgia license or compact privileges, plus BCLS certification; 2 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT.
• Licenses: Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia.
• CEU requirements: Must maintain CEU's as by the State.
• Work Experience: 2 years of experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence.
• Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury.
• Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.
