Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking a licensed physical therapist to provide comprehensive PT services across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. The role involves evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.

The candidate should have a DPT/MS/BS in Physical Therapy, maintain required CEUs, hold a Georgia license or compact privileges, and possess BCLS certification. Prior experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT; CEU requirements per the State.
• 2 years of experience preferred.
• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or compact privileges in Georgia required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA required.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence.
• Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury.
• Provides patient care to all age groups including pediatric, adult and geriatric.
• May supervise staff and assist in orientation and guidance of assigned personnel.
