Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks skilled maintenance workers for carpentry, painting and masonry tasks across plant facilities. You will plan layouts, estimate material needs, and work from blueprints and sketches. Emphasis on safety and quality across interior and exterior work areas.

Minimum two years of general maintenance experience including carpentry with painting or masonry work is required. This role may involve high-risk operations and shift variations as needed.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years General Maintenance experience including carpentry plus painting or masonry type work.

Responsibilities

• Plan layout and perform a wide variety of construction repair and remodeling including carpentry, dry wall, general painting, masonry, plaster, grout, and cement work on all interior and exterior facilities and equipment throughout the plant.
• Estimate project requirements and determine proper amounts of materials to be used.
• Work from blueprints, sketches, and written or verbal instructions.
• Maintain records and perform related duties.
