Glen Haven Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable LPN Float Nurse for the 7:00 AM-3:00 PM day shift at our Northport, Alabama facility. You will float across units, providing skilled nursing care, supervising CNAs, and ensuring resident safety and quality care.

Ideal candidates hold a current Alabama LPN license with CPR/BLS certification and have experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care. Join a team focused on teamwork and compassionate resident care.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama LPN license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or geriatric nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care setting.
• Float between nursing units based on clinical and staffing needs.
• Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Recognize and communicate changes in resident condition.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Supervise and support CNAs.
• Promote resident safety, dignity, comfort, and quality care.
