Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an on-site Utility - Fry Line position for the 2nd shift in the United States. The role involves filling daily staffing needs in the MRB area and performing various production and support tasks.

The worker reports to production management at shift start and awaits instructions to perform duties. Candidates must be able to operate machinery and complete Tyson paperwork accurately, while adhering to safety, quality, and production standards.

Qualifications

• Must have 3 months operator experience within the last 12 months.
• Ability to perform a variety of production and support roles within the assigned department.
• Ability to operate machinery, tools and equipment as required.
• Ability to communicate with plant management, supervisors, and other team members in person and via radio.
• Ability to provide relief breaks and cover staffing needs as assigned.
• Ability to follow safety, quality and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Fill daily staffing needs in the Further Processing area (MRB).
• Report to production management at the beginning of each shift and await job assignment.
• Perform a variety of production and support roles within the department.
• Operate machinery, tools, and equipment as required.
• Complete Tyson paperwork accurately.
• Communicate with plant management, supervisors, and other team members in person and by radio.
• Provide relief breaks and cover staffing needs as assigned.
• Follow safety, quality, and production standards.
