Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a Multi-Skilled Technician / Painter to join our facilities team in Batavia, Ohio.

The role involves painting, patching, and general building repairs, along with preventive and reactive maintenance to keep the healthcare facility safe and functional. You will work across trades, including minor plumbing/electrical work, ceiling tile replacement, and basic mechanical tasks, with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating on-call duty approximately every 4–6 weeks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job-related experience.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to follow routines and use basic MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive work orders.
• Prepare, patch, paint, touch up, and finish interior and exterior surfaces.
• Perform general facility repairs including minor plumbing/electrical work and ceiling tile replacement.
• Apply paint, primer, varnish, polyurethane, and other coatings with appropriate tools.
• Review work orders to identify required materials, tools, and time.
• Assist with facility systems and basic refrigeration/mechanical tasks; work on-call as scheduled.
• Use an iPhone/iPad as part of day-to-day facility work.
