Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher degree.
• Non-Exempt AFSCME bargaining unit applies.
• Performs a wide range of facilities services tasks including non-technical maintenance.
• May perform unlicensed trades such as light equipment operator, carpenter, mason, and/or roofer.
• Inspects buildings, grounds and equipment to determine need for maintenance and repair and recommends improvements.
• Maintains inventory; requisitions materials and supplies; budgets input and long-range planning.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide range of facilities services tasks including non-technical maintenance.
• May perform tasks of other unlicensed trades, such as a light equipment operator, carpenter, mason, and/or roofer.
• Monitors, maintains, and performs standard repairs to building facilities.
• Inspects buildings, grounds and equipment to determine need for maintenance and repair and recommends improvements.
• Maintains inventory; requisitions materials, supplies and equipment; budgets input and long-range planning.
