Job summary

Ryman Hospitality Properties is seeking a Security Officer in Las Vegas venues to protect guests, staff, and property with a hospitality-first approach. You will screen guests, enforce policies, escort VIPs, and respond to emergencies to maintain a safe environment for all attendees.

This role requires the ability to de-escalate conflicts, conduct routine safety inspections, and produce accurate incident reports in a fast-paced live music setting.

Qualifications

• Background in security or law enforcement preferred.
• Experience in entertainment/hospitality venues and crowd control preferred.
• State Alcohol Education Card required.
• Guard Card preferred for part-time employment.
• CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure environment and provide friendly, professional service.
• Screen guests at entry using metal detectors, weapon detection systems, and bag searches.
• Enforce venue policies, verify IDs, manage crowd flow, and restrict access to restricted areas.
• Protect property and assets through patrols, surveillance, and monitoring of facilities and parking areas.
• Provide escorts for artists, VIPs and other high-profile individuals.
• Respond to emergencies per SOP; assist guests and support evacuations; administer first aid/CPR/AED.
• Address crowd control issues; de-escalate conflicts and remove unruly individuals as needed.
• Report hazards and defective equipment; conduct safety inspections and audits.
• Prepare detailed incident/accident reports; maintain safety documentation.
