Job summary

ASM Global in Miami, FL seeks a Building Service Worker to perform setup, cleaning and maintenance for theater and convention center events. You will work under the Operations Manager, coordinate with other sections, and ensure a safe, efficient environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and preferred prior arena/event experience. Responsibilities include cleaning, waste removal, equipment setup, and operating lifts and vehicles as trained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior conversion and/or event experience in an arena, convention center or other similar public assembly facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare facility for shows with chairs, stages, tables and other equipment.
• Perform exterior cleaning and maintain the facility exterior and interior glass.
• Dispose of all waste, including bulk trash removal from the building.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms.
• Sweep, mop, and shampoo carpets as assigned or needed.
• Read and follow event work orders and coordinate work with operations sections.
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow policies.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts and company vehicles after training.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
