Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily operations at One World Observatory, NY. You’ll drive staffing plans, payroll accuracy, and service standards while ensuring safety and compliance. A visible leader will foster accountability, collaboration, and guest-focused excellence on site.

The role requires managing multiple departments, partnering with venue leaders, and driving initiatives to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction in a high-volume venue in New York City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of operations management, hospitality, attractions, entertainment, retail, food and beverage, or related leadership experience required.
• Experience with labor planning, payroll administration, operational reporting, and POS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of assigned departments and service areas to ensure efficient, safe, and effective operations.
• Develop staffing plans, schedules, and labor resources while maintaining payroll accuracy and labor cost controls.
• Maintain service, quality, and operational standards through regular inspections and audits.
• Investigate and resolve guest concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Support maintenance and protection of assets, equipment, and facilities through preventative practices.
• Foster communication and collaboration among team members, department leaders, and business partners.
• Assist in initiatives that improve efficiency, guest satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Ensure POS systems and operational reporting tools are maintained and utilized.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and development of team members.
• Prepare and review operational reports, analyze performance, and recommend improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
