Job summary
Legends Global is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help oversee all aspects of a premier venue in Grand Rapids. You will supervise both full-time and part-time staff, ensure compliance with labor laws and safety standards, and drive profitable operations under the General Manager's guidance.
You will analyze financial reports, assist with contracts, and contribute to menu development and promotions while building a strong management team and client relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with 3–4 years of management experience in contract foodservice.
- 4–5 years of management in suites/premium operations in sports/entertainment.
- Strong customer service orientation with leadership and initiative.
- Willingness to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the overall effective management of venue operations.
- Ensure compliance with alcohol service policies and events.
- Manage events from setup to breakdown with clear communication.
- Analyze budgets, forecasts, and P&L statements.
- Support menu development, promotions, and marketing plans.
- Develop and maintain a strong management team.
