Job summary

The Los Angeles Convention Center in downtown Los Angeles is seeking a full-time Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on a wide range of equipment and building systems used during events.

You will work with the Operations team to keep generators, HVAC components, doors, and related machinery running smoothly, with safety and efficiency as top priorities. This onsite role requires collaboration across departments and availability for event coverage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems and related equipment.
• Service diesel, gas, and propane powered equipment including lifts, carts, and vehicles.
• Assist engineers with generator, fire pump, and air handling unit repairs.
• Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulations.
