Job summary

Smith Event Center seeks an energetic Event Staff member to ensure events run smoothly and meet guest expectations in a fast-paced venue.

You will greet guests, assist with setup and breakdown, maintain the venue’s appearance, and uphold safety standards while delivering high levels of customer service. The role is indoor and requires reliability, teamwork, and strong communication. Light lifting may be required and overtime could occur.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year related experience is preferred.
• Duties performed in indoor settings with safety procedures followed.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and answers questions during events.
• Maintains venue appearance and light cleaning during events.
• Sets up and breaks down tables, chairs, and tablecloths as needed.
• Welcomes guests to the venue and represents the company at events.
• Ensures organization and cleanliness of venues and safety precautions.
