Responsibilities

• Support the team in conducting technical and market research, performing due diligence, and identifying promising investment opportunities
• Develop and refine investment roadmaps in Enterprise & AI; track industry trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive landscapes
• Identify and profile the most promising startups and technologies in target markets
• Monitor performance of notable startups and scaleups; track venture investment activity, acquisitions, and partnership trends
• Maintain internal knowledge bases and market maps to guide sourcing and decision-making
• Gather intelligence from the enterprise ecosystem through interviews, surveys, and feedback loops; translate enterprise perspectives into investment theses
• Contribute to company diligence: product analysis, technical reviews, market sizing, and customer references
• Summarize research into clear, data-driven insights for the Ventures team; manage dealflow sessions
• Partner with senior team members to align enterprise needs with startup opportunities; support founder introductions and content initiatives

Role Overview

Plug and Play, one of the most active early-stage venture investors globally (2,000+ startups backed since 1998, including PayPal, Dropbox, SoundHound, and LendingClub), is expanding its Enterprise & AI Ventures team and hiring an Analyst to evaluate early-stage AI and enterprise software startups.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the team in conducting technical and market research, performing due diligence, and identifying promising investment opportunities
