Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is recruiting a midlevel corporate associate for its Stamford, CT office. The role focuses on emerging companies and venture capital, guiding clients from formation to exit and handling corporate and transactional matters.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong research and writing skills, and will work in the office at least three days per week. JD from an ABA-accredited law school and CT licensure or eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA Accredited Law School.
• Licensed to practice law in Connecticut.
• 3–5 years of relevant corporate practice experience.
• Strong academic background with excellent writing and research skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise emerging companies and venture capital investors on corporate and transactional matters.
• Draft and negotiate venture capital financing documents, including term sheets and convertible notes.
• Provide governance guidance on board and shareholder issues.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic transactions.
• Conduct due diligence and assist in transactional closings.
• Act as outside corporate counsel to private companies and manage client relationships.
