Frank, Rimerman + Co. LLP in Sacramento is seeking driven, collaborative individuals to join our Venture Capital Audit practice. This in-person role is based in our Sacramento office, with an expectation to be in-person three days per week on average.

The group start date is tentatively October or November 2026. As the fastest growing area of our Firm, our nationally ranked Venture Capital Audit practice works with progressive funds and fund managers, auditing funds from $30 million to over $1

Qualifications

• Complete or currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program with a concentration in accounting.
• Meet educational requirements for California CPA licensure prior to start date.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2, with a higher major GPA preferred.
• Final graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Attend client meetings and engagement planning meetings.
• Participate in all phases of investment fund audits, reviews, and examinations.
• Apply analytical and technical skills to complete audit workpapers and procedures.
• Utilize valuation models to allocate fund manager vs. fund investor capital per fund agreements.
• Issue opinions regarding whether fund accounting and financials are in accordance with US GAAP.
• Collaborate with a diverse group of talented audit professionals.
