Frank, Rimerman + Co. LLP's Venture Capital Audit practice in San Diego seeks an Audit Associate to join our growing team.

This in-person role is based in our San Diego office three days per week with a target start in October or November 2026. You will build technical, professional and leadership skills while performing fund audits, reviews and examinations for funds from $30 million to over $1 billion in assets, collaborating with a diverse group of audit professionals in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in accounting (or current enrollment).
• Must meet educational requirements for California CPA licensure prior to start date.
• Minimum GPA 3.2; higher major GPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend client meetings and engagement planning meetings.
• Participate in all phases of investment fund audits, reviews, and examinations.
• Apply analytical and technical skills to complete audit workpapers and procedures.
• Utilize valuation models to allocate fund manager vs. fund investor capital per fund agreements.
• Issue opinions regarding fund accounting and financials per US GAAP; support audit conclusions.
• Collaborate with a diverse group of audit professionals.
