The Associate works directly with the firm's Partners to execute all aspects of the VC investment and portfolio management process.Key responsibilities include sourcing new investment opportunities across the technology ecosystem; conducting thorough due diligence on potential investments through meetings with founders, expert calls, reference checks, product and technology evaluation, market research, and competitive analysis; and supporting portfolio companies with post-investment value-add to help them become leaders in their industries.The Associate will also build strong relationships throughout the technology, VC, and startup ecosystem to help HOF Capital identify promising new founders and startups as early as possible, and develop deep domain expertise in the firm's areas of focus including AI, software, and deep tech.Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a startup founder, VC or PE investor, software engineer, product manager, investment banker, management consultant, hedge fund investor, or quantitative trader. Experience building software applications, infrastructure, or AI/ML models is required. The ideal candidate attended a top-tier university, demonstrates excellent analytical aptitude, and has genuine passion for technology investing.
