Job summary

HOF Capital in New York, NY is seeking a VC Associate to join its early-stage investment team. You will work directly with Partners to source opportunities, conduct due diligence, and provide post-investment support to portfolio companies.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of startup/VC experience, plus a background in software and AI/ML, with exceptional analytical and communication skills and a strong drive to become a long-term member of the investment team.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience as startup founder, VC/PE investor, engineer, product manager, investment banker, management consultant, hedge fund investor, or quant trader.
Experience building software applications/infrastructure and/or AI/ML models.
Excellent professional and academic performance.
Independent thinker with strong analytical aptitude and self-motivation.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team player with no ego.

Responsibilities

Sourcing new investment opportunities and conducting due diligence.
Support portfolio companies post-investment.
Collaborate with Partners to evaluate market opportunities and technology trends.
Develop domain expertise in HOF Capital's areas of interest.
Build relationships across technology, VC, and startup ecosystems.
