Zusammenfassung

Aduro Advisors is seeking an Assistant Controller to manage client relationships and lead a small, skilled team delivering high-quality technical work. The role combines preparer and reviewer duties, requiring strong project management and industry experience to support multiple clients.

You will reconcile, close periods, and prepare financial statements, leveraging FundPanel and Xero in a dynamic, home-based role with opportunities for growth and development within Aduro’s collaborative culture.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years of experience in the alternative asset industry.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and partnership accounting.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the main point of contact for multiple clients.
• Manage workflow across Aduro team members including senior controllers and accounting staff.
• Set up and run recurring client check-in calls with status updates and operational needs.
• Respond to ad-hoc client requests within 24 hours.
• Reconcile banking, prepare journal entries, and maintain ledgers per US GAAP (Xero).
• Drive month-end close and coordinate with senior staff and client as appropriate.
• Prepare and review quarterly financial statements including partners’ capital allocations.
