Job summary

Capital Factory in Austin, Texas seeks a Venture Associate who will meet technology founders, assess ventures, and recruit them into CF’s All Access Fund. You’ll engage with startup communities and speak at events to expand the network.

The role requires at least two years at a tech startup and a passion for emerging technologies. You’ll build relationships with CEOs, angels, and VCs, manage deal flow, and use AI tools to stay ahead.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two years of experience in a tech startup (founder, employee, or investor).
• Passion for founders, startups and emerging technologies such as AI, quantum, energy, agtech, advanced manufacturing, robotics.

Responsibilities

• Meet technology entrepreneurs and recruit them into CF’s All Access Fund.
• Participate in startup community events and programs as a speaker.
• Use social platforms to discover new startups and connect with founders.
• Develop relationships with CEOs, angel investors and venture capitalists and link them to relevant startups.
• Read local startup news and engage on social media.
• Utilize Capital Factory AI tools to manage deal flow and publish deal memos.
