Job summary

Park Place in Great Falls, MT is seeking a licensed Certified Respiratory Therapist to serve as Clinical Liaison for our Vent Unit. The role blends clinical expertise with market-facing responsibilities to drive referrals and admissions.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in respiratory care, strong communication skills, and comfort with public speaking. Hybrid work supported with travel to referral sources; CEU support provided.

Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credential in Montana (or eligibility).
• 2+ years in respiratory care, preferably vent unit, ICU, or SNF vent unit.
• Interest or experience in healthcare marketing or liaison work.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable with public speaking.
• Proficient with MS Office; experience with electronic health records a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle; daily travel required with mileage reimbursement.
• Passion for respiratory care, ventilator weaning, and patient outcomes.
• Self-motivated, results oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary clinical liaison for the Ventilator Unit; build referral relationships with hospitals and discharge planners.
• Conduct on-site and virtual evaluations to assess admission suitability for ventilator-dependent patients.
• Educate referral sources on vent unit capabilities, weaning protocols, and respiratory care.
• Coordinate admissions, communicate patient needs to hospital teams, and ensure complete documentation.
• Track referrals and census data; prepare marketing and census reports for leadership.
• Represent the facility at events and professional meetings to promote respiratory services.
• Provide in-services and clinical education to partners and internal staff.
• Collaborate with admissions, nursing, and therapy to optimize patient outcomes and occupancy.
• Maintain HIPAA and regulatory compliance.
