Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
• Minimum of 1 year of ventilator experience.
• Tracheostomy and respiratory care experience.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents requiring ventilator and respiratory support.
• Monitor residents for changes in respiratory and overall clinical condition.
• Perform nursing assessments and administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Provide tracheostomy and ventilator-related care within nursing scope of practice.
• Respond appropriately to changes in resident condition and emergencies.
• Collaborate closely with Respiratory Therapists, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Supervise and support CNAs and other nursing staff.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies.
