Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. in Massachusetts seeks a Ventilator Patient Specialist to manage a defined territory of ALS and pediatric ventilation patients, serving as the primary contact for patients, caregivers, and care teams involved in ventilation care.

This role offers $45–$50 hourly pay with a potential bonus, plus a $2,000 gross sign-on bonus at 60 days, 180 days, and 365 days of continuous employment; external candidates are eligible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• RRT or CRT preferred; other medical credentials may be acceptable depending on state licensure laws.
• Must be licensed in primary state of home office as required by state law and provide license copy.
• Pediatric and/or ALS Ventilation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Available for on-call assignments as needed; responsible for phone consultations during non-business hours.
• Maintains continuing education for performance and licensure as required.
• Maintains documentation of services provided per company policies.
• Keeps licensure up to date in the state(s) of practice.
• Supports orientation and training of other personnel as directed by the Manager.
• Performs other duties as required by licensure laws or the Manager.
• Patient assessment and education as applicable.
• Sets up and monitors highly technical respiratory equipment.
