Job summary

Rotech Healthcare is seeking a qualified Ventilator Patient Specialist to manage ALS/Pediatric ventilation patients across a defined territory. You will be the primary contact for patients and caregivers regarding ventilation care and responsibilities at the location include setup and ongoing monitoring of respiratory equipment.

External candidates may receive a $2,000 gross sign-on bonus after 60 days, plus two more $2,000 bonuses at 180 and 365 days of continuous employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) preferred.
• Must be licensed in primary state of home office as required by state law.
• Pediatric and/or ALS ventilation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a set number of ALS and/or Pediatric ventilation patients within a defined territory.
• Be the primary contact for patient, caregiver and related entities in ventilation care.
• Set up and monitor highly technical respiratory equipment.
• Provide patient education and assess patient needs.
• Maintain licensure and comply with state requirements.
