Job summary

Care Plus Management is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for Lincoln Village Healthcare Center in Lincoln, IL. The role focuses on ventilator and tracheostomy support, with independent work and adherence to facility protocols.

The RRT will perform routine respiratory procedures, monitor status, and respond to emergencies, working under the Respiratory Director to maintain high standards of care in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC.
• Valid Illinois state respiratory care practitioner license.
• Experience in ventilator and tracheostomy care, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to residents with ventilators and tracheostomies.
• Perform routine respiratory care procedures including suctioning, ventilator checks, and oxygen therapy.
• Monitor residents' respiratory status and document findings.
• Respond to emergencies and provide immediate respiratory support.
• Maintain ventilator operation competencies and ensure compliance with policies.
