Lincoln Village Healthcare Center is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC credential to join our respiratory therapy team in Lincoln, IL. The role emphasizes ventilator and tracheostomy care, independent work, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The RRT will ensure high standards of care, conduct routine respiratory procedures, and maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines while supporting residents and staff in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold NBRC RRT credential.
• Illinois state respiratory care practitioner license required.
• Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care in long-term care settings preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to residents with ventilators and tracheostomies.
• Perform suctioning, ventilator checks, tracheostomy care, and oxygen therapy.
• Monitor respiratory status and document findings.
• Respond to emergencies with immediate respiratory support.
• Ventilator unit oversight and adherence to policies and medical orders.
• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in care conferences, trainings, and quality improvement.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and accurate documentation.
