Zusammenfassung

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Therapist – Ventilator Support to deliver specialized care to ventilator dependent patients in home and alternate care settings. You will perform clinical assessments, educate patients and caregivers, and collaborate with physicians to ensure high quality outcomes outside the hospital.

The role requires an AMA-approved respiratory credential, ventilator experience, and a commitment to compliance and documentation standards.

Qualifikationen

• Associates degree from AMA-approved respiratory program.
• One year of clinical experience with ventilator exposure.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Valid and unrestricted license as Respiratory Therapist in serviced states.

Aufgaben

• Maintain knowledge of ventilators, HME products, and related guidelines.
• Perform assessments and communicate findings to physicians.
• Support discharge planning for ventilator-dependent patients.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on ventilator use.
• Document all patient care activities accurately per standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation per policy.
• Complete compliance training per AdaptHealth program.
