Qualifications

• Must be a licensed respiratory therapist.
• High school diploma or GED with preferred medical-related degree.
• One year of DME or hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and performs clinical respiratory services for customers.
• Observe, assess, and monitor signs and responses to care.
• Develop and modify care plans based on assessments and orders.
• Make recommendations to physicians for quality patient care.
• Operate ventilator support and life‑sustaining equipment; follow emergency procedures.
• Read and interpret medical records and insurance documents.
• Chart patient care in writing and in databases; maintain equipment.
• Provide delivery, set-up, and instruction for respiratory equipment.
• Educate customers and caregivers on device use, infection control, and safety.
• Coordinate with referrals and promote respiratory services; support QA and maintenance.
