Job summary

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with home care experience to provide respiratory care in patients' homes. You will set up equipment after physician orders and manage ventilator care, ensuring safe and effective operation.

The role involves delivering ventilators and BiPAPs in hospital and home settings, completing paperwork, and educating patients on proper use and safety. A clean driving record and active license are required.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with home care experience.
• Setting up respiratory equipment promptly after physician orders.
• Ventilator management experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in hospital and home settings.
• Completes delivery and pick up paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Provides patients with instruction on use, maintenance and safety of their medical equipment.
• Performing follow up phone calls with patients after respiratory equipment is set up.
• Providing follow up care in the home setting as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
