Job summary

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide in‑home respiratory care and to set up prescribed equipment according to physician orders. The role includes ventilator management and ensuring safe, effective device use.

The position involves delivering and setting up equipment in patients' homes and hospitals, with follow‑up calls and ongoing home visits as needed, leveraging a strong focus on patient education and safety.

Qualifications

• Active RRT or CRT license.
• Clean driving record.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Must be 21 years or older to be covered on company auto insurance and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including non‑invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in the hospital and home setting.
• Complete delivery and pick‑up paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Provide patients with instruction on the proper use, maintenance, and safety of their medical equipment.
• Perform follow‑up phone calls with patients after respiratory equipment is set up.
• Provide follow‑up care in the home setting as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
