Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to establish and manage complex ventilation, perform weaning, collect samples and interpret data to refine patient plans. Educating patients and families on respiratory therapies is also required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in establishing and managing mechanical ventilation.
• Ability to wean patients from ventilation with high accuracy.
• Experience with diagnostic testing such as blood gases and sputum analysis.
• Strong data interpretation to guide care plans.
• Ability to educate patients and families about respiratory therapies.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and manages mechanical ventilation with high proficiency.
• Performs weaning and updates ventilator care plans daily.
• Collects specimens and performs diagnostic testing (blood gas, sputums).
• Interprets diagnostic data and integrates patient response to therapy.
• Delivers respiratory therapies and educates patients and families.
