Holden Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Holden, MA is seeking a Vent Nurse (RN or LPN) for a part-time role on our Respiratory Care Unit. This casual position offers Saturday evening/night shifts and Thursday evening shifts.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Valid MA RN or LPN nursing license.
1 year of experience is preferred but will consider a new graduate nurse.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

Assess patients' health needs and develop and implement care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate staff member
Communicate with patients and families to provide education and support
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment
Document patients' progress and outcomes using electronic medical records
Stay up to date with current research and best practices in nursing
Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and improve skills
Other duties as assigned
