Job summary

Holden Rehab & Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking a dedicated Vent NURSE (RN or LPN) to join our team. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities and focuses on providing essential care to patients with ALS, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Ventilator Dependency. The ideal candidate will be passionate about nursing and possess a valid MA license. Competitive pay rates range from $33 to $50.62 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience, along with shift differentials.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience is preferred but will consider a new graduate nurse.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health needs and develop and implement care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate staff member.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide education and support.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment.
• Document patients' progress and outcomes using electronic medical records.
• Stay up to date with current research and best practices in nursing.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and improve skills.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay Range (depending on experience):

LPN: $33.00 - $39.444/hr ($.50 - $5.00 Shift Differentials)

RN: $40.00 - $48.62/hr ($.50 - $5.00 Shift Differentials)

RN, BSN: $42.00 - $50.62/hr ($.50 - $5.00 Shift Differentials)

As a Nurse on our Respiratory Care Unit at Holden Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch care to our patients. The Respiratory Unit is a specialty unit providing care to patients with ALS, Traumatic Brain Injury and Ventilator Dependency. The desired candidate will have a passion for caring for residents needing 24-hour critical care in a long-term care environment.
