Job summary

VIP Medical Group, a premier medical organization comprising Vein Treatment Clinic and Pain Treatment Specialists, seeks a Medical Sonographer to join our team across Encino, Arcadia, Torrance and other CA locations.

You will perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound, prepare exam rooms and equipment, conduct EMR-based notes, and uphold HIPAA privacy while collaborating with healthcare staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate degree in Medical Sonography.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Sonographer.
• Experience with EMR systems.
• Certification: Certified Medical Sonographer.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, rule out DVT scans, and post procedure scans.
• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography exams in accordance with patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Medical intakes.
• Enter medical notes in our EMR system.
• Use sterile technique for procedure set up and prep patients for procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
• Properly care for Ultrasound equipment and notifies the office if there are any issues.
• Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers and members of the health care team.
