Job summary

Turtle, a long‑established electrical distributor, seeks a Vendor Services Representative in Clark, NJ. This hybrid role requires in‑office presence two days a week with additional meetings in Clark, NJ.

The candidate will handle vendor statements, support designated vendors, and resolve account issues while maintaining accurate vendor records and coordinating with AP for timely payments. This position is ideal for organized, service‑minded professionals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Strong Excel skills required.
• Organized with excellent time management.
• Positive attitude and problem-solving ability.
• Familiarity with INFOR SXE is a plus.
• Experience with accounts payable representation preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting debit/credit entries.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing monthly vendor statements of account.
• Provide support and service for designated vendors.
• Investigate and resolve account issues: holds, missing invoices, partial/over payments, chargebacks.
• Review and verify invoices set to pay.
• Maintain account information: remit address, AR rep, terms, payment methods.
• Work closely with Invoice Processing to ensure payments are made.
• Assist in AP activities for fiscal year end closeout.

About the Role

Turtle is seeking a Vendor Services Representative in Clark, New Jersey. This full‑time, Monday‑through‑Friday position is hybrid remote/in‑office; the candidate is required to work in the office two days per week and attend additional meetings and events in Clark, NJ.

What You’ll Do

• Reviewing monthly vendor statements of account
• Provide support and service for designated vendors
• Investigate and resolve account issues: Account holds, missing invoices, partial or over payments, chargebacks etc.
