Job summary

Rocket Homes Real Estate LLC is seeking a Vendor Risk Intern to join the Vendor Risk Governance team in Cypress Waters (Coppell, TX). This hands-on role offers exposure to due diligence on vendors, risk controls, and AI-enabled risk methods while working with experienced risk professionals to deliver real projects.

You’ll support project and change management, perform gap analysis, deliver reports, and help improve our vendor risk processes.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with interest in risk, compliance, or related fields.
• Exposure to legal, compliance, regulatory, or accounting controls concepts through coursework or projects.
• Experience in project-based or team-oriented settings with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support project and change management efforts.
• Perform gap analysis and contribute strategic recommendations for risk processes.
• Deliver reports, analyze metrics and summarize information for the team.
• Help ensure accuracy and completeness in manual processes and documentation.
• Identify and share ideas, including AI-enabled approaches, to improve workflows.
• Assist in creating materials and presentations for meetings.
• Learn about the business by attending meetings, huddles and trainings.
