Job summary

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America, Inc. (MHIA) seeks a Vendor Qualification & Compliance Manager to lead end-to-end vendor registration and onboarding for chiller products and data center cooling solutions.

Hybrid role based in Carrollton, TX, coordinating US and Japan teams to comply with UL/ETL/NRTL, ASHRAE/AHRI, and related requirements. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in vendor qualification with cross-functional PM skills, audit readiness, and experience with customer portals and

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years in vendor registration, supplier qualification, or onboarding.
• Experience with B2B manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Knowledge of NA tax, insurance, regulatory, and commercial compliance.
• Hands-on experience with structured documentation management and portal operations.
• Strong cross-functional project management and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead full vendor registration, planning, submission, and approval for hyperscalers and design firms.
• Manage account-level priorities, milestones, and critical path for approvals.
• Drive multi-portal operations across HS, colocation, eng, procurement, and manufacturing systems.
• Coordinate pre-assessments, gap analyses across tax, insurance, sanctions, export control, cybersecurity, ESG, finance, and supply chain.
• Develop corrective actions with owners and dashboards to visualize progress.
• Coordinate audits, evidence, and test reports; align with UL/ETL/NRTL requirements.
• Manage annual renewal calendars (tax, COI, contracts, compliance).
• Align onboarding with Sales tender timelines; coordinate with Eng, Manufacturing, Quality, Legal, Finance, EHS, IT/Cyber, Supply Chain.
• Lead final document reviews, version control, and training to standardize onboarding.
