Job summary

Cityside Fiber is seeking a Vendor Performance & Quality Manager to join the Operations team in Irvine. This individual contributor role manages end-to-end vendor performance for installation and field activities, ensuring competitive pricing, accurate billing, and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in vendor management, procurement, or related operations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
• Experience managing vendor performance, pricing, invoicing, and SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage an Operations vendor strategy aligned with demand and capacity.
• Onboard and maintain vendor alternatives for field activities.
• Lead pricing negotiations, benchmark costs, and improve unit economics.
• Establish invoice-validation controls and resolve discrepancies.
• Own vendor quality governance and drive corrective actions.
• Reconcile company-owned materials issued to vendors and usage.
• Create vendor scorecards covering operational, financial, and quality metrics.
• Define performance measures with Service Delivery and Field Services.
• Coordinate vendor performance reviews and quarterly business reviews.
• Implement corrective-action plans and decide workload changes.
• Incorporate inspection findings into vendor performance reporting.
• Maintain independence between vendor governance and QA, focus on accountability and commercial impact.
