Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a detail-oriented Vendor Performance Analyst to research and analyze supplier metrics, identify root causes of compliance issues, and prepare crisp presentations for vendor visits and leadership reviews.

The role requires strong data management, analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to cross-functional stakeholders. You will engage vendors, propose improvements, and help close open issues with timely updates.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of supply chain or logistics work preferred.
• College degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of vendor scorecard metrics.
• Ability to research assignments and draw logical conclusions from data.
• Ability to communicate analysis findings clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze vendor performance metrics and identify root causes of recurring compliance issues
• Prepare presentations for vendor onsite visits and facilitate problem-solving discussions
• Research shortage deductions, recommend repayment actions, and facilitate merchants’ decisions on open balances
• Prepare focused presentations for key vendors and communicate analysis findings clearly
• Explain vendor scorecard assessments to suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders
• Research assignments, draw logical conclusions from data, and manage research deliverables
• Engage with vendors through email, video calls, and onsite visits to address compliance issues and suggest performance improvements
• Keep vendors informed about progress on open issues
• Discuss vendor compliance issues with buyers and explain root causes and potential solutions
• Present vendor overviews to senior merchants and MO leadership
• Review vendor scorecards and analyze performance data
• Prepare presentation materials for vendor meetings
• Process buyer expedite and exemption requests
• Check deliverables for accuracy and maintain high-quality work output
• Participate in corporate and departmental initiatives and complete team goals
• Improve existing processes, prioritize tasks, and meet work deadlines
