Job summary

Savannah River National Laboratory is seeking a Procurement Data Entry Specialist to maintain vendor profiles, onboard new vendors, and oversee the onboarding process. The role emphasizes accuracy, security, and compliance in government procurement workflows.

Ideal candidates will have a BS/BA and up to three years of related experience, with US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DOE security clearance. This is an on-site position based in Aiken, SC with occasional travel to conferences.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance; US citizenship required.
• BS/BA plus 0–3 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Experience or familiarity with government procurement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical expert for onboarding and maintaining vendor profiles.
• Maintain accurate, complete supplier files with high attention to detail.
• Manage sensitive supplier information with discretion.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Verify facts and source missing details from reliable sources before entry.
• Support small business goals and travel to a few conferences annually.
