Job summary

Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) seeks an entry-level professional to join the Accounting/Controller Team.

You will support core accounting functions by validating banking documentation for new vendor setups, maintaining vendor master data in SAP, processing deposits, and recording incoming cash while researching and resolving payment issues. You will also assist with reporting and compliance tasks and collaborate with internal teams to improve onboarding efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of accounting, accounts payable, or financial operations experience.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and journal entries.

Responsibilities

• Obtain, review, and validate vendor documentation to ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain vendor master data in SAP, including W-8 documentation updates.
• Process deposits and record cash receipts; prepare journal entries for incoming funds.
• Research and resolve bank returns and reconcile daily credit card activity.
• Prepare and distribute monthly late-invoice reports and weekly vendor status updates.
• Support audits and compliance with well-organized documentation.
