Description
Our client needs a Vendor Manager to oversee contract management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT procurement, contract analysis, and vendor performance management. The candidate needs a blend of technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills to effectively assess and optimize vendor relationships and contracts. Candidate must be detail-oriented, tech savvy, and a self-starter with proven vendor/contract manager experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Contract Review & Optimization: Analyze existing IT vendor contracts to identify inefficiencies, outdated terms, and cost-saving opportunities, recommend and implement contract improvements and renegotiations. Identify areas of unnecessary or redundant costs.
- Identify inefficiencies, outdated clauses, and opportunities for renegotiation.
- Contract Analysis & Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret complex IT contracts, including SLAs, licensing agreements, and service terms. Identify inefficiencies, outdated clauses, and opportunities for renegotiation.
- Risk Management: Assess contractual risks (e.g., compliance, data security, service continuity), Ensure contracts align with regulatory and organizational risk policies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with legal, finance, procurement, and IT teams.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
