As a Vendor Management Coordinator, you will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to oversee the vendor management process, support contract management, and more.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Manage vendor insurance and licensing compliance for Related Affordable properties by serving as an intermediary between the Vendors, Property Operations, Accounting, and Risk Management.
- Assist new vendors through the vendor credentialing process, administer vendor override exceptions and exemptions, and proactively follow up with existing vendors not in compliance with Related’s insurance requirements.
- Support communication and resolution of compliance components related to Certificates of Insurance.
- Administer laundry contract management by working with laundry vendors to procure proposals, draft laundry contracts, coordinate laundry machine changeovers, and maintain the portfolio laundry contract tracker.
- Support contract management for elevators, mitigation services, and other maintenance-related contracts.
- Provide support in Facilities functions including Incident Reporting, Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) and other ad hoc requests.

Anticipated salary range:
$31.25 - $37.50 / hour
This range is provided as a general guideline and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, geographical location, and the specific responsibilities of the role. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Final compensation offers will be determined following a thorough assessment of the candidate’s background and the requirements of the position.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of administrative experience in facilities, property management, or affordable housing is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and experience with facility management software (preferred).
- Knowledge of vendor management, incident reporting, or EH&S regulations is a plus.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in facilities management, administration, or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and navigate sensitive issues professionally.
- Demonstrates accountability and reliability by taking full ownership of projects and outcomes, prioritizing precision and attention to detail, and approaching challenges with grit, resilience, and proactive problem-solving, while continuously engaging in learning and development to enhance performance; fosters collaboration and a resident-centered environment, ensuring empathy, respect, and cross-functional success in all interactions.
