Job summary

State of Maine’s Office of Information Technology seeks a Systems Analyst to serve as a liaison among program partners, vendors, and MaineIT. The role emphasizes vendor management, documentation, and ensuring IT policy compliance for enterprise-wide systems.

Hybrid work is available with up to 90% remote work; onsite presence in Augusta is expected at least every two weeks. An emphasis on collaboration, security, and process improvement drives the work environment.

Qualifications

• A four (4) year combination of higher level programming and/or systems analysis and design experience.
• Masters degree may substitute for two years of programming experience.
• Experience managing vendor supported applications and vendor relationships is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vendor software development life cycle and project development cycles.
• Ensure vendor compliance with IT contracts and policies.
• Identify technical risks of changes to applications and aid operations.
• Facilitate technical issue resolution with multiple groups.
• Develop functional requirements including cost and time estimates for projects.
• Coordinate with partners and vendors to implement enterprise-wide systems.
• Lead system walk-throughs and manage tasks in JIRA to support releases.
