Job summary

The Maine Department of Administrative and Financial Services, Office of Information Technology (MaineIT), is seeking a Systems Analyst for vendor management across enterprise applications. The role supports program partners, vendors, and internal teams in Augusta with hybrid work options, up to 90% remote, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Ideal candidates will have a four-year degree and substantial systems analysis or programming experience, with strong communication skills and experience

Qualifications

• Four-year combination of higher level programming and/or systems analysis experience.
• Masters degree may substitute for two years of programming experience.
• Experience with managing vendor supported applications and vendor relationships.
• Experience with designing, conducting and evaluating system tests is desired.
• Experience with application support and development in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversight/management of the vendor software development life cycle and project development cycle.
• Management of vendor compliance with IT contracts.
• Identify technical risks of changes to the application system.
• Facilitate technical issue resolution with multiple groups.
• Develop functional requirements including cost and time estimates for phases.
