Job summary

Ferguson is seeking an On-Site Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Specialist to manage customer inventory within their facility. You will perform daily stock checks, process replenishment orders, and coordinate with onsite contractors to ensure accurate orders and timely restocking. The role requires hands-on inventory experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently onsite, following a Monday–Friday 6:30 a.m.

to 4:00 p.m. shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management, supply chain, warehouse operations or related fields preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Provide responsive, courteous and solution oriented support to onsite personnel and contractors.
• Clearly conveys information in person and in writing, ensuring accurate order processing and effective collaboration.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Precision in counting, tracking and documenting inventory to ensure reliable stock levels.
• Identifies issues such as stock shortages or urgent product needs and takes proactive steps to resolve them.
• Comfortable using inventory systems, order entry tools and basic computer applications to manage VMI processes.
• Ability to work independently on site.

The On-Site Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Specialist is responsible for managing inventory operations directly within a customer’s facility. This role ensures accurate stock levels, timely replenishment, and exceptional customer service by working hands on in the customer’s supply room.

Hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m (8-hour shift).

Pay Range:

$21.63 - $30.26

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
