Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team at our Indianapolis facility. You will oversee the night-shift operations, ensure the accurate unloading, stocking, picking and shipping of goods, and maintain inventory integrity with cycle counts.

Safety and regulatory compliance are a priority as you manage a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of supervisory warehouse experience, and a Material Handling Equipment Certification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse management or supervisory experience.
• Material Handling Equipment Certification required.
• Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving and inventory.
• Familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations preferred.
• Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train and develop warehouse associates to maintain productivity.
• Supervise unloading and stocking of inbound shipments and picking/shipping of outbound orders.
• Ensure warehouse space is used efficiently and kept clean and orderly.
• Maintain inventory integrity and perform cycle counts.
• Enforce safety and security protocols and report issues to management.

Ferguson is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team!

Schedule:

Sunday-Thursday 8:30pm-5:30am with additional OT as required.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and develop a productive warehouse by hiring, training and providing professional development for all of its associates
• Supervise and coordinate unloading and stocking of inbound shipments and the picking and shipping of outbound orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness with both product and paperwork
• Ensure warehouse space is used effectively and kept clean and orderly
• Ensure integrity of inventory and confirm that cycle counts are completed
• Maintain security of warehouse and safety of all associates and equipment, reporting any accidents and conveying any issues to branch management

Qualifications:

• A strong background in Warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is required
• 2+ years of warehouse management or supervisory experience is required
• Material Handling Equipment Certification is required
• Proficiency in OSHA and DOT regulations is preferred
• Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities
• High attention to detail
• Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment
• Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic
• Great communication skills and the ability and desire to lead a team

Pay Range:

$15.58 - $33.85

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
