Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a practical transactional attorney to join our Vendor Legal team in a remote-first role based in the United States.

You will lead negotiation, drafting, and execution of a wide range of vendor agreements and partner with Procurement, Engineering, and Product to deliver business outcomes. You’ll design playbooks, templates, and processes to scale with growth, manage a high deal volume with sound judgment, and provide clear, pragmatic guidance across the organization.

Qualifications

• JD and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
• 5+ years of transactional experience in-house at a tech company or top law firm.
• Experience with marketing tech, adtech, fintech, payments, or financial services.
• Experience supporting global or multi-jurisdictional transactions.
• Strong knowledge of data protection and privacy regimes (CCPA, GDPR, APPs, PIPEDA, GLBA).
• Proven ability to manage high deal volume with quality and speed.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation, drafting, and execution of a wide range of vendor agreements.
• Design, implement, and improve playbooks, templates, and negotiation guides.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, Product, Finance, and Security to provide guidance.
• Serve as a strategic business partner to stakeholders across the organization.
• Develop training and resources to empower partners to self-serve on routine matters.
